Tom Andrews is a lecturer in policing, teaching new police officers on both the Police Constable Degree Apprenticeship (PCDA) and Degree Holder Entry Programme (DHEP) schemes. Prior to joining the team at ÂײÝÊÓƵ he was a police officer for thirteen years.
His specialisms include subjects such as stop and search, knife crime and community policing. his main area of research and interest however is into the study of police history. He is the editor of the Journal of the Police History Society, which is published annually.
